Pernix Partnerships Program

Senior nearshore engineering execution — as your trusted delivery partner

Pernix partners with product agencies, design firms, fractional CTO networks, AI advisors, and ex-Pernix alumni. We're the senior engineering execution arm so your clients ship — without you having to build a development team.

Who we partner with

Six types of firms we work best with

If your clients eventually need senior engineering execution — and you don't want to build that team in-house — Pernix is the partner.

Product Management Agencies

Firms that lead product strategy, discovery, and roadmap work — but don't write the code themselves.

Examples of the type of organizations: ProductFolks community, Mind the Product vendors, lean PM consultancies.
We don't compete with you. We're your delivery partner.

Design Firms

Top-tier UX and product design firms that want a development partner with disciplined execution and engineering quality.

Examples of the type of organizations: Boutique UX studios, NN/g-tier consultancies, brand-led product design firms.
You design it. We build it. With craftsmanship.

Fractional CTO & Technology Advisory Networks

Fractional executives and operator-led advisors who guide mid-market companies through engineering decisions and need execution capacity they can trust.

Examples of the type of organizations: Fractional CTO communities, technology advisory networks, operator-led consulting practices.
Your strategic advice + our engineering execution.

AI Advisory Firms (Boutique)

AI strategy consultancies that don't implement. Pernix is the engineering partner that turns AI strategy into production-grade features safely.

Examples of the type of organizations: Boutique AI strategy firms, ML-research-to-product consultancies, applied AI advisors.
You set the AI direction. We ship it without breaking production.

Pernix Alumni Network

Ex-Pernix engineers now working at U.S. companies. The warmest possible introduction channel — you already know how we work.

Examples of who qualifies: Former Pernix engineers, designers, or operators at any U.S. tech company.
You know our standards. Vouch confidently.

VC Portfolios (Strategic Alliance)

Seed and Series A-focused funds whose portfolio companies need senior engineering capacity. Pernix becomes the preferred dev partner across the portfolio.

Examples of the type of organizations: Operator-led funds, seed and Series A VC platforms, scout networks with engineering portfolios.
One trusted partner. Better outcomes across your portfolio.
Our positioning

We're not a competitor. We're the execution arm

Pernix doesn't lead product strategy, design direction, or AI consulting. We do one thing: ship reliable software with senior nearshore engineers using AI-assisted workflows under disciplined review.

Our promise

We stabilize your client's code, accelerate delivery, and unlock AI — in that order.

Has an internal product owner or technical sponsor
Wants nearshore capacity in U.S. timezones
Facing legacy, AI, product delivery, or staffing pressure
Decision-maker accessible for a 20-minute call
Open to a 14-Day Engineering Sprint as the starting point
Partner relationship protection

We protect the relationship you've built

Pernix will not bypass partners, compete for strategic ownership, or reposition the client relationship without clear agreement.

Our role is engineering execution. Your role — whether product strategy, design direction, advisory, or capital — stays with you. We are the team your clients call when they need senior nearshore engineering capacity, and nothing more unless you and the client agree otherwise.

No bypassingEvery renewal or expansion involves you.
No upselling around youAdjacent work routes back through the partner.
No silent repositioningWe don't reframe your role with the client.
Commercial limits

What we will not do

Clear limits make partnerships work. These are commitments we make every time.

We will not white-label without agreement. If you want Pernix to appear under your brand, we agree to it explicitly and in writing.
We will not take over product strategy unless requested.Engineering execution is our lane. Strategy stays with the partner or the client.
We will not hide engineering risks to close a deal.If a project shouldn't happen, or shouldn't happen yet, we say so honestly — even when it costs us the engagement.
We will not start without a clear spec and delivery owner.Every engagement begins with a written specification and a named owner on the client side. Otherwise we don't start.
FAQ

Common questions from partners

When does the partnership fee get paid?
On a quarterly cadence, against collected fees during the agreed attribution period. Payment via bank transfer in USD. Specific structure is shared privately when the partnership is formalized.
Do you sign formal partnership agreements?
Yes. Tier 1 uses a one-page MOU. Tier 2 uses a standard partnership agreement. Tier 3 is fully bespoke and signed by Pernix leadership.
What if my client decides Pernix is not the right fit?
Then we don't do the work. No fee, no hard feelings. We protect your reputation as much as ours — see the Partner Relationship Protection section above.
Can I introduce multiple companies?
Absolutely. Each qualified introduction is tracked separately. Most strategic partners introduce several companies per year.
Can I upgrade tiers over time?
Yes. We review the relationship periodically. Active partners naturally upgrade as deal flow and trust grow.
Is there exclusivity?
Only at Tier 3, and only if both sides want it. Tiers 1 and 2 are non-exclusive.
Will Pernix go around me once it has the client?
No. We commit to not bypassing partners, not upselling around the partner, and not silently repositioning the client relationship. This is explicit in every partnership agreement.
